Cicero Consulting has announced the five firms in the running for its UK retail 2008 Platform of the Year Award.
Cofunds, Nucleus, Selestia Investment Solutions, Standard Life and Transact have been shortlisted from a poll of IFAs, life and pension providers, consultants, asset managers and other distributors.
The winner will be announced at Cicero's International Platform Conference in London on 28 February, with the final vote will be conducted amongst all delegates and speakers.
"This award is particularly interesting as it will be voted for by a wide selection of industry participants and represents the views of providers as well as distributors,” conference chair Holly Mackay says.
“The nominations indicated a clear favourite but we'll see what happens on the day and whether the bigger cross-section of delegates agree with the speakers' nominations.
“The five on the shortlist received the most votes from a total of 11 retail platforms which were proposed by our speakers."
