The Association of Home Information Pack Providers has appointed Martin Willard as its new chairman just two months before the introduction of HIPs.
Willard, currently managing director of MDA Information Products, will assume the role from Ian Turner who has been with AHIPP since it was founded in 2005.
Mike Ockenden director general at AHIPP says: “I would like to offer sincere thanks to Ian, on behalf of the association and the membership.
“He has been a very supportive chairman, without whom AHIPP and the HIP industry in general may not exist today.
“I am pleased to welcome Martin into his new role. He is able to combine in-depth knowledge and experience of both HIPs and the wider industry.
“Martin is extremely well placed to lead us through the introduction of HIPs in August.”
Willard adds: “I am delighted to have been appointed as chairman for the association and I will ensure the continued high profile of AHIPP, which Ian has maintained during the past two years.
“We have an eventful year ahead with the introduction of HIPs now less than two months away.”
