Abbey guide to regulation "in the post"

clock

Abbey for Intermediaries is posting a guide to regulation, which this week should land on the doormats of some 18,000 intermediaries, explaining changes in the areas of mortgages, protection and general insurance.

The guide is being matched with a series of roadshows, with the intention of helping intermediaries decide a future course of business, and which regulatory mantle to wear, e.g., whether to become directly regulated or otherwise. AfI says the guide is done in an independent style, meaning it does not try to persuade intermediaries to adopt the Abbey way of looking at pending regulation. For those who do not receive a copy by Tuesday, the number to telephone isl 0870 6000367. Alternatively, copies should be available at www.abbeyforintermediaries.com IFAonline
