Scottish Widows has appointed Robert Kerr to the newly created role of head of distribution development.
Reporting to Peter Hendry, sales and distribution director, Robert will be responsible for the analysis and assessment of current and future market trends. He will also ensure corporate objectives are aligned with key business partners in both the intermediary channel and within the Lloyds TSB network. A key part of the role will be developing the Scottish Widows response to the FSA Distribution Review.
Robert joined Scottish Widows from Grant Thornton in 2001, and his previous roles include corporate finance manager, strategy consultant and commercial manager on a wide range of internal and external projects.
