The FSA is developing an enhanced version of its online handbook of rules and guidance for release next year.
The upgraded electronic handbook and CD-Rom will be functional in the spring of 2005, and will be more advanced than versions available commercially, say the FSA.
The FSA has teamed up with legal publishers Sweet & Maxwell to provide the new technology which is offered free of charge.
Chief counsel at the FSA, Mark Threipland says: “These improvements will give firms quick and easy access to the rules that they need, reducing their compliance costs.”IFAonline
