Symponia opens regulatory law helpline

Care fees planning specialists Symponia has launched a helpline manned by solicitors to help with any legislative queries concerning a care home.

It says the helpline, set up in partnership with regulatory law firm Shakespeare Putsman, could provide a buffer zone for both the advice and the care industry. Janet Davies, Symponia’s joint founder and managing director, says: “On a business to business level, the helpline will strengthen and grow relationships between care homes and financial advisers, which currently can be pretty one-sided i.e. IFAs wanting introductions to the residents and their families. “This initiative is the first of its kind and we believe it marks a unique opportunity and provides an unprecedented synergy bet...
