Bank of Scotland Investment Service has launched a website to aid individuals in the run up to A-Day, on 6 April 2006.
The site provides information on the effect of pensions simplification and is designed to guide individuals through an assessment of their pension situation, while also encouraging appropriate action. Alan Jones, head of Bank of Scotland Investment Service , says:"With less than a year to go until the A-Day pensions revolution, there are still people who are unaware of the impact the new legislation could have on their pensions and retirement plans.
