Hamptons International has today announced the appointment of Jonathan Cornell as managing director of its mortgages division.
Cornell joined Hamptons International Mortgages in 2002 as technical director and has been involved in driving the business forward. He has been instrumental in building the Hamptons International Mortgages brand and is a well-known figure within the industry.
He replaces Kevin Duffy, four months after he stepped down as managing director to head up Robert Sterling.
Cornell will report to Mark Anderson, managing director of UK Residential Agency at Hamptons, who says: “Jonathan has made an outstanding contribution to the success of the Hamptons International’s Mortgages division over the years and has more than earned the opportunity to support and grow the business further.”
Cornell becomes managing director with immediate effect and will focus on growing the division as part of Hamptons strategic expansion plans.
