Life and Pensions provider Friends Provident has promoted Mark Cracknell director of development of UK distribution.
Cracknell, who has held a number of senior sales roles at Friends Provident, will be responsible for the “strategy in developing new and existing distribution relationships and the management of operational support across UK distribution.”
The firm currently has a number of distribution and third part agreements in place, including the likes of Bankhall, Sesame and Tenet, and Cracknell will be tasked with extending this.
Simon Clamp, managing director of UK sales and marketing at Friends Provident, says: “Mark has been instrumental in building up our relations and providing the support that our business partners and their clients require.
“Our objective is to continue to build new distribution agreements whilst not neglecting in any way the needs of our current partners.
“Mark’s huge experience in this specific sector of the intermediary marketplace is exactly what we are looking for.”
