Saxton appointed managing director of Halifax Intermediaries

Jack Saxton has been appointed managing director of Halifax Intermediaries, taking over from the departing Alan Cleary who is leaving the lender to got to Oakwood with Michael Bolton.

Saxton has 18 years experience at Halifax and HBOS. He was appointed head of intermediary markets at Halifax in 2003, following various roles in intermediary national sales. The lender says he has been instrumental in implementing the Halifax strategy in the mortgage intermediary marketplace, particularly the lender's development of a world-class on-line trading solution. Saxton says: "I'm delighted to be taking on this role. Intermediaries are at the heart of our business and I look forward to driving forward relationships with our key partners."
