Nationwide's Stuart Bernau has been appointed as the new Council of Mortgage Lenders chairman.
Standard Life Bank’s Anne Gunther has stepped down to be replaced by Bernau while appointed deputies are Jon Pain, Managing Director at Cheltenham & Gloucester and Lloyds TSB Bank Savings and Charles Haresnape, director of mortgage sales and intermediary development at RBS Group.IFAonline
