Standard Life has linked up with SEI to offer a flexible investment solution to advisers.
SEI will add its 12 funds to Standard Life’s core wrap proposition, allowing advisers to allocate solutions on variable risk profiles.
Advisers can enter a number of risk profiles on each client and the solution will allocate the investment approach suited to the individual – therefore saving on allocation time.
While SEI’s funds are already available across the board, UK investors are now able to access the entire solution in two places, the first being on Selestia.
Standard Life investment development head Graham Dow says it was immediately evident the two firms share similar beliefs and thoughts on the future.
“We were impressed by SEI’s investment approach, its pedigree with advisers in the UK and US, and its philosophy of helping advisers improve their business,” he says.
“We firmly believe that this addition will complement the range of business tools that our wrap offers the adviser market today.”
SEI financial advisory business managing director Ryan Hicke says many advisers have come to him asking for the SEI solution to be a part of Standard Life wrap.
“Outsourcing the investment management process can begin to address these needs by providing a superior investment management service and freeing the time and resources of advisers to work with their clients more effectively hence creating more meaningful long-term relationships,” Hicke says.
