Charles Haresnape has been appointed as managing director of Bank of Scotland Mortgages joining the business at the end of November 2005.
He will take responsibility for developing the Bank of Scotland intermediary business through its next phase of growth, says the lender, and will report to Nigel Stockton, managing director of Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBOS) Intermediaries as well as joining the senior management team of the group's intermediary mortgage businesses.
Meanwhile, John Lloyd is to become head of sles and processing, with responsibility for key national accounts, the business development team, mortgage processing and the lender's Premier mortgage unit. Lloyd will work with Haresnape to develop the Bank of Scotland Mortgage proposition for intermediaries.
Nigel Stockton, managing director at HBOS Intermediaries, says: "Bringing Charles and John together to lead the team at Bank of Scotland Mortgages will be a powerful combination. It's a great team to have in place to take the business through to its next phase of growth."
