Members of The Personal Finance Society (PFS) who are looking to increase their exposure to the equity release sector will now have free access to 1st - The Exchange's online equity release service, Exweb.
Thanks to a new partnership formed between PFS and 1st - The Exchange, members of PFS's Promoting Excellence in Equity Release (PEER) group will now be able to access Exweb instantly and without any extra cost.
Sue Arden, head of operations at the PFS, thinks increasing the levels of access to Exweb will encourage more mortgage advisers to up their activity in the area.
She says: “Although many of our members already use Exweb as they conduct business across a variety of product sectors, we were very keen to encourage the more specialist firms, those qualified to advise on equity release, to have access to a professional online service to support them.”IFAonline
