An athletic, confident and aspirational woman "such as Halle Berry" is the inspiration behind the new superhero Resolution Asset Management plans to create to represent its latest boutique venture.
The firm, which has already created four superheroes – all male – to represent its multi-boutique structure, plans to launch a multi-manager boutique before the end of 2007.
Resolution says it wants the female superhero to “depict the specialist skills” of Chris Ralph, Jason Collins and Simon Mungall, the former Fidelity managers who will head up the new firm.
It says the superhero “will take as inspiration athletic, confident and aspirational women such as Halle Berry”.
As with the rest of Resolution’s joint ventures, the new boutique will be half-owned by the managers and half-owned by Resolution.
Resolution Asset Management will make significant initial investment into the introductory funds launched by the new boutique.
