Abbey International has announced a new managing director, with Colin Huelin taking over the role.
Huelin joined the firm, the specialist offshore subsidiary of Abbey UK, in November 1998 as head of financial planning.
Abbey says Huelin will now play a key role in integrating the company into the newly formed Global Private Banking Division of Banco Santander.
“Abbey International has an established reputation in the offshore market for offering value and choice with a range of competitive products covering savings accounts and longer term capital guaranteed investments,” he says.
“We will continue to focus on innovation, efficiency and delivering excellent customer service - key areas at the heart of our customer focused philosophy.
“Looking ahead, being a part of the Santander Private Banking Division will open up huge opportunities for us to offer new products and services to our customers worldwide and in Jersey.
“We are planning to enhance the services to our existing customers and to build new customer relationships from our strategic base here in Jersey.”
