Alliance Trust Savings has improved its adviser centre to include webcasts of the provider's adviser road shows.
The videos examine the global economy, technical pension planning and how to take full advantage of tax benefits ahead of the changes in tax regulations for the coming year.
The revamped site also allows advisers to submit questions to the provider’s pensions technical specialists panel and receive a direct response. The most common questions will then appear on the site.
Kelly O’Donnell, managing director of distribution at Alliance Trust Savings, says: “Taking on board adviser feedback, we have improved access to the adviser centre and opened up further communication channels for advisers to interact with Alliance Trust Savings.”
Alliance Trust also upgraded the Pension Illustration Service, which allows advisers to create full SIPP illustrations for new and existing clients for contributions and transfers, to include unsecured pensions (USPs) and alternatively secured pensions (ASPs). Advisers can then save and print illustrations and retrieve and edit previously created illustrations.
The site also includes literature on all of Alliance Trust's products and enables advisers to apply for any of its Select wrapper products, if given the authority on behalf of their clients. They can also link to Alliance Trust’s online share dealing platform from the site.
Those who register will receive e-newsletters with technical updates, including news and how it might affect clients' pension arrangements.
