Winterthur Life is developing its support for IFAs in the South-East with a new appointment from Aegon Scottish Equitable.
Samantha Bannister will be moving to Winterthur from a sales consultancy position at Aegon Scottish Equitable where she was responsible for developing relationships with a number of key IFA accounts in Surrey, along with supporting advisers across a wide variety of product areas.
Her new role at Winterthur Life will make Bannister responsible for providing support to a panel of advisers in South East London.
David Thompson, director of distribution for Winterthur Life UK, says publicity surrounding the new pensions regime has heightened awareness of the need for quality advice and products, especially for high-net worth individuals for whom expert advice is essential.
He adds: “Sam's diverse experience will help maintain Winterthur's quality support services, ensuring our IFAs take advantage of the market opportunities available."
