Users of online quotes provider Webline has announced free trial access to a pensions simplification report service via the suitability software from Avail, which is now integrated with Webline's portal.
The software template provided enables advisers to create bespoke client reports outlining the action required pre-A-Day, 6 April 2006.
Joe Hill, Avail director, warns advisers who do not keep clients fully informed during the transition stage to the new regime could face regulatory difficulties in future.
”The FSA has already indicated it expects advisers to maintain high standards of advice during the transitional period, and advisers should not leave the door open for complaints in future with failure to act now,” he says in a statement."
Adds Matt Humphrey, Webline client and operations director: “With pensions simplification being one of the areas the FSA continues to focus on, all intermediaries will need to ensure they are compliant as well as helping clients take up the opportunities the changes bring.”
Full access to the suitability and A-Day software is available via a 30-day free trial to Webline registered users – a trial registration is offered.IFAonline
