Aegon Asset Management's fixed interest investment manager Louise Hogg will compete at the World Triathlon Championships.
Hogg qualified for the British team in the inaugural World Age Group Sprint Triathlon at the Hamburg titles on 2 September.
She will compete in the age 25 to 29 event – which comprises of a 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run
Hogg qualified after coming fourth in her age group at the British Sprint Championships in Motherwell at the end of May.
“I am very excited at the opportunity to race in the Great Britain kit,” Hogg says.
“It is obviously a great honour to be able to represent your country on the world stage.”
Aegon Asset Management managing director Andrew Fleming says the whole company wishes Hogg well.
“Such a feat clearly requires a lot of hard work, commitment and dedication, all qualities Louise has in abundance,” he says.
Aegon Asset Management will sponsor Hogg for the event.
