Scottish Widow Hayley Hunt is expecting her first baby, it was announced today.
The 23-year-old, who took over the role of the Widow from Amanda Lamb in June 2006, is the first Widow to fall pregnant while playing the role.
Hunt married her husband James Lutman, whom she met as a teenager, last July.
“The last six months have been a bit of a blur for James and me but we're extremely excited at the prospect of being parents,” Hunt says.
Mike Hoban, customer and brand director at Scottish Widows, adds: “This is very exciting news for our team as it's the first time ever a Scottish Widow has become pregnant.
“We are delighted for Hayley and James and wish them the best of luck in their new roles as parents.”
Hunt will continue in her role as the Scottish Widow.
