Legal & General (L&G) has launched a new portfolio of financial promotions tools - including a movie - to help employers inform their staff about their group pension schemes.
The portfolio includes:
A guide for IFAs and their clients the information they need to set up and administer a group pension scheme.
- A range of template promotional materials for employers to promote their scheme to their employees.
- A pensions information film for employees - available as a web link or DVD - aimed at helping the employer to provide financial education to employees about the importance of pension provision.
- A company pensions website offering information and account management tools for both employers and employees.
Helen Buchanan, distribution director (corporate wealth) at L&G, says: “The introduction of the Financial Promotions Order now gives employers the chance to promote their scheme direct to their employees and so we’ve completely reviewed our communications support so that advisers can help their clients make the most of this opportunity.
“Setting up a group pension can often be a complicated business and so our aim is to make running and promoting our group pension plans as easy as possible with support every step of the way.”
Financial advisers should contact their L&G representative to find out more about the support material.
