Zurich International's has added the £1.1bn M&G American fund and £1.2bn M&G Property Portfolio to its offshore investment platform.
The additions take the number of M&G offerings available on Zurich to five, with M&G Global Basics, the M&G Gilt and Fixed Interest and the M&G Property already accessible.
The American fund is managed by Aled Smith and has achieved top decile performance over three and five years, while the M&G Property Portfolio invests in bricks and mortar property assets in the office, industrial and retail sectors.
M&G’s partnerships director Andrew Watson says these funds have delivered consistently over time.
“The role of life companies in providing investors with access to a range of funds is becoming increasingly important as open architecture continues to develop,” he says.
“M&G values integrity and we put our trusted partners at the core of our business, this agreement with Zurich is testament to this.”
Zurich emerging markets global life insurance head Martin Davis added: “We are committed to offering our investors an enhanced fund proposition on our offshore platform and with the addition of the two funds from M&G; investors will have access to top performing funds across a range of asset classes.”
