Schroders has appointed Karl Dasher as head of fixed income.
He will report to Alan Brown, group chief investment officer, who heads up the newly-formed Fixed Income Investment Committee (FIIC), says the firm.
Dasher joined Schroders as head of global products in January 2008. He was formerly chief investment officer for SEI’s Investment Management Unit, having previously held a number of senior positions in South Africa and Continental Europe with the company. He started his career with SEI IM in 1994.
Brown says: “Karl has the global experience and the in-depth investment knowledge that we need for this strategic role in the organisation.”
“We continue to invest in our global capabilities and enhancing our processes to take advantage of current and emerging opportunities,” he adds.IFAonline
