AWD Chase de Vere has launched a tax and trusts division for legal and accountancy and corporate clients.
The wealth manager has appointed Paul Grafton-Holt and Claudio Bacci as directors of the team, which also includes a client relations manager. AWD will appoint a technical manager within the next month.
Grafton-Holt and Bacci will provide a technical resource to advisers on investing and managing wealth offshore, tax wrappers and advice on strategic senior management remuneration packages.
Both previously spent the last four years as directors of the tax and trusts services team at financial and risk services company Alexander Forbes.
Before joining Alexander Forbes, Grafton-Holt spent three years at financial services company Inter-Alliance as a regional director, and Bacci spent three years as an assistant regional director at IFA business RJ Temple.
Mike Kirsch, chief executive officer of AWD Chase de Vere, says: “An increasing number of businesses are seeking tax efficient means to reward their founders and to attract and retain the best talent.”
