Invesco Perpetual has appointed Tim Dickson as fund manager within its Asian equities team.
He will report to Stuart Parks, head of Asian equities at the asset manager.
Previously investment director for the GEM and Asian desk at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP), Dickson was portfolio manager for a number of Asia, Ex-Japan funds including segregated and standalone mandates.
Since May 2006 he was sole manager pf SWIP’s Asian funds and was formerly assistant director of the Pacific Equities desk at F&C.
Commenting on the hire, Parks says: “Tim has a strong investment background and his extensive knowledge of Asian markets will further strengthen our existing team and enhance our ability to continue to generate strong long term investment returns for our clients.”IFAonline
