A workshop demonstrating to IFAs how technology can be used to save time and reduce administration has been launched.
Adviser networking site IFA Life is teaming up with Standard Life to host the technology training workshop on 9 December in Bristol.
Ross Dunlop, Standard Life head of e-commerce will explain how to use technology to create more time for consumers and add value to client relationships as well as how Adviserzone, Standard's adviser extranet site, can help IFAs deliver on TCF outcomes.
Attendees can also have a personal demonstration of the Adviserzone technology in their office via a one-to-one web conference.
IFA Life founder Philip Calvert, says: "For the first time in many years, we're now seeing IFAs expressing strong interest in making better use of their website and the internet in their business.
“There's real belief now the Internet can be used to find new clients and to add value to existing clients - but the majority of IFAs want help and clarification on how they should move forward."
Calvert will illustrate how IFAs can use the internet to raise their profile online, plus how to add value to existing clients through their website.
He will also offer easy-to-implement ideas and techniques on how IFAs can enhance their websites to improve their Google search engine rankings.
"IFA Life and Standard Life are both passionate that technology can bring huge benefits to IFAs and we're confident that attendees will leave with a clear roadmap on how to move forward," Calvert added.
The workshop will be held on 9 December from 8.15am until noon at the Holiday Inn, Hambrook, Bristol.
Advisers can confirm a place by emailing Calvert at: [email protected] or Standard Life at: [email protected]. They can also call 0845 272 6611 or visit: www.ifalife.com/standardlife for more information.IFAonline
