Defaqto launches wrap research tool

Defaqto is to launch a new wrap research tool for intermediaries on its Aequos Online database in mid-July.

Defaqto says the new tool will enable advisers to research tax wrappers, tradeable asset types, investment tools and reporting capabilities offered by wrap providers. Advisers will be able to use the platform to identify the wrap most suited to their individual needs. Matt Ward, Defaqto’s head of wrap, says because of the different starting points and varied approaches of wrap providers advisers are finding getting a clear view of exactly what is, or isn’t, on offer from each proposition extremely challenging.
