Liverpool Victoria has appointed a head of national accounts for its intermediary division.
On taking up the new role, Chris Hopkinson will be responsible for communicating the society’s life and protection propositions to key financial advice firms.
The society says Hopkinson, who previously held senior positions at Legal & General and MetLife, will bring to the role a significant amount of sales management experience within the intermediary sector. He will be responsible for 20 major accounts.
Stuart Tragheim, director of intermediary business, says: “His successful sales track record, breadth and depth of market knowledge, and a proven ability to build profitable working relationships will be crucial as we develop our long-term strategy and commitment to the intermediary market.”
