Falcon Group has appointed Tim Collyer as it's head of investment solutions.
Collyer was previously technical director with another large IFA group and will join Falcon from 9 July.
Collyer says he is impressed with Falcon’s achievements, adding: “I have admired the progress of the Falcon Group for many years and share similar views on the importance of quality of advice, profitability and risk management being the key fundamentals of sustainable growth.”
The growth and continued development of the recently released Brunel Funds, launched by Piers Denne, who leaves to join Premier Asset Management, will be one of Collyer’s primary responsibilities.
Collyer will also be required to draw upon his experience within the industry and take responsibility for technical support for Falcon Group’s advisers.
Commenting on the appointment, Stephen Gazard, Head of Group Development at parent company Sumus, says: “Having previously worked with Tim, I know we have found a highly capable and experienced technical and investment specialist and we are delighted to welcome him to the Group.”
