Halifax has announced the launch of a new improved website for mortgage intermediaries.
The company says the website includes a range of enhancements and new, easy to navigate, tools, including a product search, lending criteria and regular updates.
Halifax says claims the search tool has been designed to allow intermediaries to find the best product for their client more quickly and easily, while the lending criteria provides information about Halifax’s underwriting policies, what documentation is needed to verify applications and background information on valuation schemes and fees.
In addition Halifax says the text message alert service will enable mortgage intermediaries to keep up-to-date with the latest news, while the ‘contact us’ facility will give intermediaries direct contact with the right person to help with their problem.
Jack Saxton, managing director of Halifax Intermediaries, says: “We work closely with intermediaries to keep our online service fresh and ahead of the competition. The new look website includes a host of new tools to make it even easier for intermediaries to do business with us.“
