Standard Life appoints demutualisation project head

John Hylands has been appointed to lead the demutualization project of Standard Life, the company says

Hylands, currently group finance director, will rely on a team of appointed advisers from outside to help him in his task. These include: Merrill Lynch and UBS – financial advisers Watson Wyatt – actuarial advice PricewaterhouseCoopers – reporting accountants Slaughter & May, and Dundas & Wilson – legal advice Hylands will continue in his existing group finance role until a replacement is found, says Standard Life chief executive Sandy Crombie.
