St James Place appoints new CEO

Wealth management advisory firm St. James's Place has confirmed the group's managing director has been appointed as its new chief executive with immediate effect.

David Bellamy initially took over responsibility for the day to day running of the group in January, after previous CEO Mark Lund stepped down in a joint decision with the Board to “seek fresh challenges”. The firm says Bellamy’s appointment follows a “thorough search process” conducted by the Nomination Committee, which was chaired by Michael Sorkin, the senior independent non executive director.
