Threadneedle has boosted its Defined Contribution (DC) pensions team following the acquisition of Invesco Perpetual's DC business earlier in 2008.
Lesley Carline has joined the team as client relations manager, where she will develop and manage Threadneedle’s relationships with its DC clients and consultants, says the company.
Formerly, she was SPS client director at Xafinity Paymaster and has previously worked for DC Link. Carline has over 16 years experience in the pensions industry, focussing on client servicing, business development and marketing, according to Threadneedle.
Rita Butler-Jones, head of DC at Threadneedle, says the DC business is an important growth area.
“DC pensions are set to dominate future retirement provision, by increasing in our client servicing capability we can effectively be a part of this growth,” she adds.
