Skandia Investment Group (SIG) has launched a new multi-manager global equity fund, a diversified portfolio consisting of 12 managers.
The Skandia Global Dynamic Equity fund will have four managers, including Epoch's David Pearl and Marsico's Cory Gilchrist, running US mandates - while Schroders' Richard Buxton will manage the sole UK position.
Skandia will benchmark the new offering against the MSCI AC World GDP Index.
"Investors are increasingly looking for global, rather than regional, equity solutions," SIG Chief Investment Officer James Millard says.
"This trend is borne out by data from the IMA, which shows the Global Growth sector enjoying the third-largest net retail sales in 2008, up from 8th position three years ago."IFAonline
