CII appoints development managers in RDR prep

The CII Group, a professional body for the insurance industry, has appointed two development managers in preparation for the outcome of the FSA's Retail Distribution Review (RDR).

Mick Whatley joins from Legal & General where he worked for a year as a sales manager. Lorraine Cox joins from 19 years at Axa where she most recently worked as protection relationship manager. They report to Steve Aspinall, head of business development of financial services. The team also includes corporate development managers Roger Nelson and Jim Baylis, who was recruited last October.
