Tax specialist to teach Towry Law advisers

A former tax specialist at Clerical Medical has joined IFA firm Towry Law to help its advisers through their qualifications.

Michael Greenwood has joined the firm to fill the new role of technical liaison manager and will provide support and advice on products, legal documents, trusts and tax planning. In April this year, Towry Law announced all its advisers must reach the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Chartered Financial Planner qualification. Previously, Greenwood, who will work with John Richardson, head of technical planning at Towry Law, was a tax and trusts manager at Clerical Medical/HBOS Group, responsible for its trust and estate planning propositions.
