XForms, a new technology for handling and presenting data in electronic format, will be explained by Origo at an industry briefing set to take place early next month in London.
Building on XML, the existing base standard for handling data, such as online life and pensions quotes, XForms is set to replace existing derivatives, such as ISML.
Origo's briefing will not just present the technology, but will include focus on the business benefits of using XForms.
Other firms due to present include IBM, Novell, Point Solutions, Polaris, Practiv, x-port, and the World Wide Web Consortium – the latter is responsible for giving the green light to new internet technologies.
The briefing takes place at IBM’s South Bank offices on 6th April.
