Secretary of State James Purnell has reappointed Laurie Edmans as a non-executive director of the Pensions Regulator.
Edmans will serve another three years in the role and earn £10,404 for the equivalent of 20 days work a year. He previously sat on the non-executive board position of the Pensions Regulator’s predecessor, the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority (OPRA), from April 2002 to April 2005. He has also works on the Thoresen review of generic financial advice as special adviser.
