The Institute of Financial Services has renamed itself the ‘ifs School of Finance'.
The new name is designed to be more representative of the ifs, according to officials, as the body develops its financial education provision for the industry and consumers.
More specifically, its introduction is also part of the ifs’s ambition to gain degree-awarding powers.
Students will start to see new branding appear on their course materials, but the content of programmes will not be changed.
The websites address - www.ifslearning.com - and telephone numbers will also remain the same.
Gavin Shreeve, chief executive of ifs School of Finance, says: “This is an exciting milestone in the ongoing development of the ifs as a fully-fledged educational body dedicated to financial learning.”
