RAM expands UK equity desk

Resolution Asset Management (RAM) has appointed Martin Brown as an investment manager on its UK Equity desk.

Reporting to Peter Reid, CIO UK Equities, Brown will over time have a range of sector and portfolio responsibilities. Brown joins from Aberdeen Asset Management. Prior to that he was with Glasgow Investment Managers, where he was an investment manager between October 2003 and January 2008. He was deputy manager of Glasgow Income Trust and Macintosh High Income OEIC. Before taking on this role, he worked for a number of years with investment banks in Edinburgh and London as a software and computer services analyst.
