Fortis wins top prize at British Insurance Awards

Fortis, the international insurance provider, triumphed at last night's British Insurance Awards, winning the top prize of General Insurer of the Year.

Comedian Dara O’Briain hosted the Incisive Media event, held at the Royal Albert Hall. The Achievement Award went to Patrick Snowball, former group executive of Aviva, who retired in May this year. Donna Claydon, liability claims operations manager at AXA Insurance, won the Young Achiever of the Year Award, which is given to professionals under the age of 30.
