Advisers will have access to iimia's funds for the first time through a platform after it announced its fund of funds OEIC range will be available on Cofunds.
Investing in open-ended and closed-ended funds, the iimia Growth, Income and Growth & Income offerings have all outperformed their absolute return benchmark since inception.
The funds use a thematic approach and invest in equities and bonds, as well as alternative investments, iimia says.
“We are delighted to join the Cofunds platform which will provide intermediaries with easier access to iimia’s specialist fund of funds portfolios,” iimia investment services managing director Bruce McIntosh says.
“Our funds aim to offer opportunities in all market conditions by providing access to a wide range of asset classes in the UK and abroad.”
Cofunds fund manager relations director Russell Lancaster says the platform is in-tune with IFA expectations.
“We are focussed purely on the demands of financial advisers and they are showing an increased interest in boutique fund groups,” he says.
“We offer attractive new groups such as iimia both an immediate product infrastructure and a distribution channel to the intermediary market.”
The funds have a 5% initial charge and 1% annual management charge. A 15% performance fee will apply if the funds outperform the Sterling three-month LIBOR +2% benchmark.
Up to 3% commission will be paid with discounts given up to 5%.
