Fidelity International is hosting a series of masterclasses to introduce advisers and paraplanners to multi-manager investing.
Scheduled to be held between the 7 and 30 November the classes will be held at 34 locations across the country with 1,150 advisers already signed up to attend the seminars which look at the different types of multi-manager and how all the various components fit together.
Designed specifically for advisers to give generic information on the wide range of investment approaches and products on offer, the Fidelity masterclasses cover topics such as:
- Commercial Dynamics – how and why the multi-manger sector is growing
- Defining Risk – what are the different types of risk and are they a threat or an opportunity
- Fund selection in practice – what multi-managers look for when selecting funds and the tools advisers can use
- Portfolio construction
- Managing the multi-manager
- Positioning the multi-manager
- Future of the multi-manager
Peter Hicks, head of the IFA channel at Fidelity International, says: “Multi-manager is a fast growing sector with more and more products and providers coming to the market – with an array of differing strategies, and our masterclasses have a strong reputation for giving advisers generic, insightful analysis of investment issues and topics.”
The seminars will last around two hours with a short break and more details can be found at the Fidelity adviser website or on 0800 41 41 21.
