Newly-launched national IFA, 2Plan, has appointed pensions specialist adviser Jonathan Holdaway as a founder member.
Holdaway, a Chartered Financial Planner, will be working across the UK to build up the 2Plan client base.
2Plan provides independent, whole of market advice, structure, and compliance and technology services to self-employed financial advisers throughout the UK, is FSA accredited and has the backing of Standard Life.
CEO of 2Plan, Chris Smallwood, says: “Jonathan is going to be a huge asset to the ever growing 2Plan membership bringing to the fold a wealth of experience and expertise in the pensions sector.”
Holdaway adds: “It’s an interesting time in the pensions market – there are still a large number of contracts, which are delivering poor returns to clients.
“I will be proactively working with new and existing clients to ensure that they maximise the opportunities that are available to them in the current pensions environment.
“The 2Plan formula is one of the best I have come across in my 25 years of working in the market and I am delighted to be part of the team going forward.”
In addition, Jonathan Story has joined Figure Out, the technology arm of 2Plan, as head of IT development.
Story was part of the team responsible for developing the electronic fact find supplied to all Positive Solutions advisers.
