UBS UK head joins IMA board

Matthew Stemp, head of UBS Global Asset Management UK, has been appointed to the board of the Investment Management Association (IMA).

Stemp will also take over the role of chairman of the IMA’s Institutional Business Committee, after John Troiano, head of global institutional business at Schroders, stepped down at the end of his four year term. Stemp was appointed to the role at the IMA’s Annual General Meeting last night. Robert Jenkins, chairman of the IMA, comments: “A leading industry body needs to draw its Board from the leaders of the industry.
