MGM Assurance, the mutual life assurance society, has appointed Sir William Proby as chairman.
He replaces Christopher Reeve, who held the role from 2000 until his death last November. Proby, chairman of Keygate Property Investments, previously held a non-executive role at MGM from July 2006. He also previously worked as chief executive of MWP, an associated company of merchant bank Morgan Grenfell, during the early 1980s.
