The Mark Mobius managed Templeton Emerging Markets Smaller Companies fund has been added to the Cofunds platform.
Dubbed the ‘Godfather of emerging markets’, Mobius' new fund aims to deliver long-term capital growth from smaller companies deriving revenue in large markets including China and India, or “frontier” outposts such as Vietnam and Kazhakstan
The newly launched Luxembourg-domiciled fund is the sixth Franklin Templeton offering on the platform, joining:
- Franklin India
- Templeton BRIC
- Templeton China
- Templeton Eastern Europe
- Templeton Latin America
“We are very pleased that the Templeton Emerging Markets Smaller Companies fund has been added, as investors who are comfortable with the higher risk nature of emerging markets now have a wider choice for their ISAs, SIPPs or the SSAS pension business available through the Cofunds platform,” Franklin Templeton Investments global advisor services senior director Jamie Hammond says.
