Homeloan Management Limited (HML) will create up to 425 new jobs in Glasgow, due to high demand for its mortgage administration services.
HML, part of the Skipton Building Society Group, currently employs 75 people locally and provides out-sourced mortgage administration to lenders and financial institutions.
The services include application processing and post-completion administration, as well as data analysis and systems consultancy.
The company is to receive up to £1.6m in assistance from regional economic development agency Scottish Enterprise Glasgow and will relocate to the city’s Skypark business complex.
“We’re really excited about our new development in Glasgow and the help and support we have received from Scottish Enterprise has really endorsed our decision to expand our presence here,” HML operations director Damian Stansfield says.
Scottish Enterprise Glasgow growing business director Debbie Mackie says HML demonstrates commitment to the city and its workforce.
“In the face of tough global competition, its decision highlights Glasgow's ability to compete with the best in the world,” she says.
“It underlines our reputation as a first class business partner and strengthens our thriving, 30,000 strong, financial services sector.”
