Regional radio programming packages launching in the next couple of weeks should enable IFAs to focus lead-generation activities locally through the air.
Llewellyn-Slade PR this summer started offering national packages including syndication now reaching some 50 commercial radio stations, and says the interest notched up so far means going regional is the next step.
Under the new package deals, IFA businesses will be able to select any four counties for the regional programming, enabling focused marketing in, say, a 50-mile radius.
Based on the existing nationally syndicated Your Money programme already in place, the new deal is targeting small to medium sized adviser firms rather than large ones or networks.
Costs to IFAs will depend on how many local stations run the programme, which allows placement of contact details such as telephone numbers or web sites on air.
By targeting, say, 10 stations over four counties, local or regional IFA businesses can ensure they do not “waste the brand” on consumers who may be living at the other end of the country.
A business does not need to have a national branch network to use the national programme package, if, for example, it intends to draw in business via telephone or online communications, Llewellyn-Slade says.
